Nestled in the heart of Livorno’s Little Venice, Agave in Città is conveniently located just a short walk away from the ferry dock, courthouse, and city center.

Livorno is one of those rare towns that constantly surprises visitors. Whether you’re coming or going by sea, the city has plenty to offer.

However, occasionally, people end up staying a bit longer than expected. That’s when they discover a new way of life, one that doesn’t run according to the hands of the clock.

Our apartments

Enjoy the freedom and privacy of an apartment with all the convenience of a hotel in our independent apartments and suites. Each room is unique in detail, and all will make you feel at home.

Outside your room’s window a canal view or the sunny inner courtyard, our accommodations are fully serviced with a kitchen, an LCD Smart TV, Wi-Fi and a safe in each apartment.

Pets are welcome and to make sure their vacation is perfect too, write us the characteristics of your friend, and we will be able to advise you on the best type of apartment to choose!

Breakfast, aperitif and more

To start the day right, try our breakfast buffet with top-quality organic delicacies to satisfy all palates.

A breakfast worth waking up for: freshly baked bread and croissants, homemade cakes, cereals, ham, cheese, free-range eggs and more organic delicacies.

Combine our selection to your heart’s desire. And take your time, we won’t rush you.

Served between 7:30 and 11 am, our breakfast can be enjoyed on the ground floor, in our courtyard or in your apartment.

If you leave before this time, we can prepare a take-away bag for you, just let us know in advance.

Looking for something lighter in the morning or a snack during the day? Stop by our café to get an espresso and a croissant or order a charcuterie plate and some wine to end the day on the right note.

Vegan, vegetarian, gluten- and lactose-free options available upon request.

Heated pool, hot tub, gym and sauna

Whether you are on vacation, in town for one night only, or on a business trip there will always be a time to relax in the heated indoor pool and unwind in our hot tub or sauna.

On the ground floor, framed by ancient arches and illuminated by blue-green lights to make the space even more relaxing, is the heated indoor pool with hot tub.

There are sun loungers where to rest between dips, a changing room and toilets. Open 24/7, the pool is 1.30 m deep and great for toddlers too. Upon request, we turn on the sauna.

If you wish to exercise during your stay, our gym awaits you with weights and other equipment.

Whether you wish to keep up with your training schedule, let off some steam or simply loosen up your muscles after a day of work,
our small gym on the ground floor is equipped with a rowing machine, an exercise bike and a treadmill plus weights and mats.

If you like running or jogging, step out and explore the neighbourhood or get to the nearby waterfront promenade, a local’s favourite. The Fortezza Nuova park is also close and a great spot for exercising.

Meeting room

Do you need to work in a quiet place while having coffee or tea? Are you looking for a space to have a small meeting or training course? Check out our meeting room, it could be the right solution for your needs.

In addition to the essential equipment to run a great meeting (table, chairs, armchairs, screen projector, speakers, microphone, Wi-Fi) we can personalize the lounge with your favourite fresh flowers. Let us know if you need the flip chart and any stationery items like paper, markers and post-it notes.

The meeting room can be booked for groups of up to 20 people.

Travelling for business

When you are traveling for work, having the freedom of an apartment but with all the amenities of a hotel can make all the difference.

All the comforts of home with the amenities of a hotel: at Agave in Città you can enjoy the best of both worlds. We have different accommodations, so colleagues can either share an apartment with 2 separate bedrooms and bathrooms or have a studio each.

No need to go out if you don’t feel like it, all our apartments come with a fully equipped kitchen, so you can whip-up something tasty, or order some take-out.

And when morning comes, we can prepare you a take-away breakfast if you leave before 7:30 am, otherwise you can enjoy our delicious buffet with plenty of options to last for the road.

Need to squeeze in a call before you leave?
Our lounge with a large table is a comfortable coworking space with a large desk and tech equipment available on request, though Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel, so you can choose another spot that fits your need if you prefer.

Furthermore, our gym, pool and sauna are yours to enjoy when the workday comes to end, or before it starts – keep up with your training schedule or take a dip to relax, whatever you choose we’ve got you covered.

Our bikes

Livorno is a town that, when experienced by bicycle, can take on very different colours and perfumes: in the town centre you can breathe in the scents of the stores and restaurants, on the waterfront the salty air will amaze you, at the port or along the canals you can join in the excitement for the catch of the day.

That’s why at the Agave in Città you can find complimentary bicycles, so you can take a tour whenever if you feel like it, or you can use them just to get to the supermarket faster and more conveniently.

Family fun

If you’re traveling with family, we offer apartments with one or two bedrooms. You can choose the one that best fits your needs, including options with two bathrooms, with or without a balcony. Our elevators make it easy to move strollers or luggage around.

For a fun family outing, the aquarium is a great choice, and the promenade is perfect for a walk and some ice cream at Terrazza Mascagni, which also has plenty of space for running and playing.

Romantic getaway

For couples, we have suites with a jacuzzi on the balcony. Ideal for relaxing together with a glass of wine and some snacks.

If you’re looking for something more intimate, our studio with an indoor jacuzzi could be your love nest.

If it’s a surprise, we can arrange for your favourite flowers to be waiting in the room.

Watching the sunset over the sea is especially beautiful when enjoyed hand in hand on a walk from the harbour to the naval academy, passing by Terrazza Mascagni.

Parking Spot

If you travel by car, remember we are in a Restricted Driving Zone from 08:00 pm to 05:00 am. Send us your license plate (if you arrive later than 8pm) so you can drive to the hotel to unload your luggage and then reach the parking spot.
