What time is check-in?

You can check in from lunchtime onwards. If you plan to arrive earlier in the morning, feel free to drop off your luggage and return later, or enjoy our buffet breakfast while you wait.

What time is check-out? Can I extend my stay?

Check-out time is by 10:00 am, but if you have different needs, just ask, and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.

When is the reception open?

Our reception is available from 7:30 am to 8:00 pm. For emergencies during the night, you’ll find contact numbers in your apartment.

If we need to leave before the reception opens, what should we do?

Make your final payment in the afternoon before departure. In the morning, you can leave your keys in the apartment or in the mailboxes and exit through the gate.

Are pets allowed?

Yes, there’s an additional cost of 5 Euros per day. Your pet can join you for breakfast but is not allowed in the swimming pool.

Can friends visit us and have lunch in our apartment?

Absolutely! Just provide their IDs to the reception.

How can I settle my bill?

We accept credit cards, debit cards, Amex, or cash.

Is a deposit required?

We ask for a credit card number as a guarantee at check-in or a cash deposit if you don’t have one.

Is the minibar free?

No, it’s not. While we provide complimentary welcome water bottles, there’s an extra cost for wine, snacks, and soft drinks.

What’s the difference between Self-Catering and Hotel formulas?

Self-catering includes bed linen, bath towels, bathroom amenities, plus cleaning and changing every six days. Hotel formula includes buffet breakfast, daily cleaning, changing of bath towels every two days, bed linen every four days, and includes bathrobes and slippers.

If I have questions, do I always need to come to the reception?

No need! You can reach out to us on WhatsApp from wherever you are. We’re always available to provide information, assist with restaurant or experience bookings, solve problems, and ensure your stay is filled with great memories.


Booking terms

Not refundable rate

CANCELLATION POLICY: In the case of a no-show or cancellation, the entire booking amount will be charged.

PAYMENT POLICY: The full stay amount will be charged upon booking. Taxes and service charges, including 10% VAT, are already included.

Free cancellation rate

CANCELLATION POLICY. Free cancellation up to 3/ 6 days prior to arrival depending on period. In case of no show or cancellation after the above-mentioned limit, full charge will be debit.

PAYMENT POLICY. A pre-authorization will be done on the given credit card as a guarantee of the reservation. The cardholder is aware and accepts the cancellation policy as written here. Taxes and service charges: 10% VAT is included.

Free cancellation with advance payment for summer, easter and Christmas holidays

CANCELLATION POLICY. In case of cancellation until 8 / 15 days before arrival the payment amount will be refunded. In case of no show or cancellation after the above-mentioned limit, full charge will be debit.

PAYMENT CANCELLATION. 40% will be charged at the reservation. Taxes and service charges: 10% VAT is included.

Be safe rate with insurance

The rate that protects you and your loved ones from unforeseen events by guaranteeing a refund up to 100% in case of cancellation and assistance during your stay for the inclusions provided in the Insurance Policy. Free coverages included valid from booking to check-out. Insurance coverage policy: https://www.besaferate.com/insurancepolicy/

TO CONFIRM the reservation 50% of the total amount at the confirmation. The rest of the total amount is requested 14 days before the date of arrival.

CANCELLATION POLICY. The BeSafe Rate guarantees cancellation for unforeseen events and offers a refund up to 100% of the prepaid amount in accordance with the regulations of the Insurance Policy applied at the time of booking.

Cancellation policy for groups

CANCELLATION POLICY. In case of cancellation until 15 days before arrival the payment amount will be refunded. In case of no show or cancellation after the above-mentioned limit, full charge will be debit.

PAYMENT CANCELLATION. 50% will be charged at the reservation. Balance of 50% will be charged within 15 days to arrival day. Taxes and service charges: 10% VAT is included.


Rooms

Will I find bed linen and bath towels in the apartment?

Certainly! You’ll discover all the essential bed linen and bath towels right in the apartment.

Is there air conditioning?

Absolutely, it’s available in every apartment.

Is there a dishwasher?

Some apartments have it, while others don’t. If it’s a must for you, let us know, and we can guide you to the perfect apartment.

Is there a washing machine?

Not every apartment has one, but we provide a coin-operated washing machine with soap, sanitizer, and softener – no need to buy them. You can request the token at the front desk (additional cost). Please note that Agave Marina does not have a washing machine.

Is the kitchen equipped?

Yes, our apartments come with cooking utensils and cutlery.

Can I watch Netflix on the TV?

Yes, you can use your own account.

Can I have a German-style bed (double bed with two single sheets)?

Absolutely, just let us know before you arrive.

Is there a vacuum cleaner in the apartment?

No, but you’ll find a sweeper and a mop for floor cleaning.

Where can I let my clothes dry?

Each apartment has a drying rack. To Agave in città there is a drier.

Are there mosquito nets in the apartment?

No, but we regularly treat against mosquitoes with certified organic products. Only to Agave in città, each apartment has mosquito nets.

Do you provide shampoo and body products?

Yes, you’ll find our own brand of shampoo, shower gel, conditioner, and body lotion in each apartment.

Do you provide dish soap?

Yes, along with a sponge for washing.

Do I need to buy salt?

No need; you’ll find it in the apartment, along with a small taste of our organic extra virgin olive oil.

Is there a safe?

Yes, each apartment is equipped with a safe, large enough for your laptop. Remember to check it before leaving.


Food

Is there a restaurant?

No, we don’t have one, but there’s a café open all day offering breakfast, aperitifs, or a quick lunch or dinner with ham and cheeses.

Can I have breakfast in the room?

Absolutely! You can choose from the buffet and we’ll provide a tray, or inform us of your preferences, and we can bring it to you (room service available for a fee).

If I only want coffee and a croissant, can I order that?

Yes, you can. It’s part of our café services available all day.

Can we get something to eat during the day?

Certainly! We can prepare a plate with ham and cheese, a toast or a sandwich, and even some fresh fruits.

I don’t want to drive tonight, is there a restaurant within walking distance?

We’re happy to recommend nearby restaurants, on a walking distance or we can call you a Taxi to reach out some others. If you’d like to enjoy your apartment, you can order a pizza for delivery.

Do you have gluten-free and lactose-free products?

Yes, we do. Our buffet includes fresh fruits, juices, gluten-free homemade chocolate cake, soy milk, or oat milk.

I’m vegan, do you have options for me?

Absolutely! We offer vegan croissants, fresh fruits, juices, soy or oat milk, fresh vegetables, Tuscan bread, focaccia, and margarine. We can also recommend local restaurants with great vegan options.

Can I buy food products there?

Yes, we have our own organic Olive Extra Virgin oil and jams. Additionally, you can purchase wine, cheese, cold cuts, and more.

In Podere L’Agave, can we pick fruits or vegetables from the fields?

Every morning, we gather ripe fruits and vegetables. You’ll find a basket full of them at the reception for free.

Can I order fresh bread every morning?

Certainly! Place your order with us the day before, and we’ll arrange for our bakery to provide the bread you prefer.

Can I order delivery foods?

Yes, you can use various apps to order food, or simply ask us at the reception, and we can assist you.


Facilities

Can we rent bikes to explore the city?

In Agave in Città, bikes are available for free. In all other facilities, we can arrange bike rentals from nearby shops that deliver directly to our places.

Is there a lift in the hotel?

Agave in città, Santa Cecilia, and Agave in centrale have lifts. Agave Marina is on the first floor without a lift. Podere L’Agave doesn’t have one, but there are only three apartments on the first floor.

Is there a meeting room that I can rent for my needs?

Meeting rooms are available only at Agave in Città and Agave in Centrale.

Do you have a BBQ?

Podere L’Agave is equipped with two BBQs, and if you’d like, we can start the fire for you.

Do you have a daily newspaper?

We can order your favorite newspaper each morning; just inform us.

Is there a luggage deposit?

Yes, you can leave your belongings at the reception before your check-in or after your check-out, and we will keep them for you while you enjoy your time.

Are swimming pools always open?

Yes, you can enjoy the swimming pools anytime. Agave Marina and Agave in Centrale do not have any swimming pools.

Are pool towels available?

Yes, with an additional cost.

Can I book a parking spot?

Parking is free at Podere L’Agave and on payment in all other facilities. Agave in Città doesn’t have parking, but there are two private ones nearby on payment.

Do I have to buy water?

No need! We provide a water dispenser for all our guests to refill anytime.

Is there a concierge service?

At the reception, we can provide all the information you need about the area, restaurants, beaches, and surroundings, as well as some maps.

I have an electric car, could I charge it there?

Charging stations for cars are available in Podere L’Agave and Agave in Centrale. Santa Cecilia has a charging station in the parking lot just outside the hotel.


PARKING

To Agave in città (LIVORNO)

We do not have a parking spot but there are two close by that we recommend:
STP parking (no supervised parking) 24/24 (0039.0586.885285), Via della Cinta Esterna, 400 mt away, five minutes walking.  Price € 0.40 per hour/ € 8 per day
PARCHEGGIO MODERNO (supervised parking)  (0039 0586 898680) in Via dell’Angiolo, 15, 600 meters from us, Price € 12.00 per 8 hours / € 25 per day. 

Remember we are in a Restricted Driving Zone from 08:00 pm to 05:00 am. Send us your license plate (if you arrive later than 8pm) so you can drive to the hotel to unload your luggage and then reach the parking spot.

To Agave Marina (Elba island)

Outside private parking spot (5 Euros per day). You can book it anytime.

To Residenza Santa Cecilia (San Vincenzo)

Private covered underground car park (8 Euros per day low season / 12 Euros per day high season). You can book it anytime.

To Podere L’Agave (San Vincenzo)

Free parking spot. Covered from sunshine. You don’t have to book it.


People with disabilities

Do you have rooms for people with wheelchairs?

Yes, in Agave in Città and in Agave in Centrale. In all other hotels, we currently don’t have accessible rooms, but please give us a call so we can better understand your needs and assist you accordingly.

Are there swimming pools with special access for people with disabilities?

Unfortunately, we don’t have specific facilities, but if you call us and provide details about the disability, we’ll do our best to accommodate and assist.

Which hotels have a lift for easy access to the apartments?

Agave in Città, Santa Cecilia, and Agave in Centrale all have lifts.


Kids

Do you provide a baby cot for our little one?

We offer a baby bed with linen and a high chair.

Can I rent a stroller?

Stroller rentals are complimentary; just let us know before your arrival.

Do you have a basin for children’s baths?

Yes, we do. Please request it before your arrival, and we’ll make sure it’s available for you.


On a business trip

Do you have WIFI for working?

Yes, in each apartment and also in the common area. Free of charge.

Where can I print files?

You can print files and make copies directly at the reception.

Can I ask you to iron my shirt?

Yes, we can on payment.

Do you have a laundry service?

Yes, on payment.
